Skype
Today at work I got sick of waiting for the Telstra conference line, so figured it was time to give Skype a bit of a go.
Follow up:
I love the way it's peer to peer after authentication, soooo much better than the netmeeting implementation. Also the fact that it automatically routes itself through port 80 when it can't find another open port is rather excellent. It makes it sufficiently idiot proof as to be used anywhere.
Hopefully I can get some of the other team members to give it a go.
For the rest of the universe, I'm on there as 'rogue.au' or using the usual email addresses. Currently it's just on my work PC but I'll probably end up taking it home as well. Can't say no to high quality free voice comms I guess ![]()

So from a point to point LAN comms solution perspective, skype = teh tops. If only there was a means by which to not require the online account validation.
