The countdown begins

English (AU)  June 21st, 2006 by CherryPopper ( Email )

Last year for me was pretty shit and I want to make sure this year doesn't turn out the same. So i decided to bite the bullet and blow all my savings on a trip overseas. Having already been round the UK in '99 i really wanted to see the rest of western Europe. So after checking out a few tours i found the one for me....

Contiki's European Inspiration, it takes me to most of the places i want to see and going with a group of like minded adventurers for 19 days should ensure that this year continues to be a good one.

I picked up my tickets today and it looks like i've also got 12hrs in Tokyo as a stop over on my way to London, so i might have to try and get into Tokyo for a flying visit. Boxy (Tristan) was telling me to go to one of those geisha clubs where all the girls dress in school dresses and feed you, but i think his tastes vary from mine. If i can get in there i'm going to have to find somewhere that will be open from 9pm till 9am so my selection of places is very slim.... i'll see what i can find as Tokyo is meant to be a 24 hour city.

Well i start my trip at 9:30am on Thursday the 6th July.

I'll be trying to keep this up to date with where i am and photos etc... so be sure to check back.

Just hop out as the plane goes over central Tokyo. Apparently they use to thunder dangerously close to the residential blocks in the early ninties.

Why you are throwing things out of the plane, just drop Rouges pc out on the way past.
